Solution

Well the poor tree is gone!!
Take note the man is working with a machete!!!
Talk about hard labor.

Tuesday Morning

Last night we had a huge storm that lasted for several hours. Early this morning Preston was the only one awake and the only witness to our next adventure here in Mexico!!!

I guess the tree saw everyone swimming and decided he wanted to go for a swim as well. Pray for us as we try to get this all taken care of before the next team arrives Saturday!!

June Team

Well we had a wonderful trip this last week.
Thanks to the leader, "Rubber Ducky" aka Bob-Bob aka Baby Blue Bob aka Bob Square we had a wonderful trip. The team had 13 hard working members and each one was able to be used in Big ways by the Lord.

Things the Lord did....
8,500 sets of fliers were passed out
3 new people came to church Thursday
Several people have been calling about the church and the upcoming basketball camp
The group was able to pray over Erica and Silvia and encourage them
Both Preston and I were truly blessed and encouraged
There was much fellowship and bonding
He did BIG things!!!

Thanks to all who prayed for this group. The Lord heard the cries of his people. Please continue praying for those fliers that were handed out. Pray the Holy Spirit will work in the lives of the people.
Please pray for these new names of people who attended the church
Ivan and Gina and Zena

A special thank to each person who was on the trip. We are glad to hear you Finally made it home!!! We love you guys and we look forward to seeing you again. Love P&C

My Daddy-O

For those of you reading the blog I am a little bit behind! I will put an update about the team we just had in a few days but first I wanted to recognize my hero in life.

My Dad has been my hero for as long as I can remember. I remember watching him work in his shop and just admiring how smart he was with everything. I remember crying when he had to leave to go to work. The older I got I began to understand when he went to work it was to support our family. My Dad has been an amazing supporter to our family. He has given us everything we need and above....plus it has been done in love!

Dad, I hope you know you are still my hero and I still admire your talents, skills and your love for our family. Thank you for sacrificing daily at work to provide for our needs! You are a wonderful picture of a Father. Thank you for loving me like my heavenly Father. Love Courtie

House Invasion!!!

Last night we received a few blessings!!! First we received our first rain of the season but with that we received a huge surprise!!!

We were watching a movie in the living room (in the dark). When we turned on the lights we were surprised to find around 20 slugs in our front door entry way!!! So we got out the salt to kill them. When we opened the front door and looked outside we soon realized we were being invaded by the Mexican slug army!!!

Here are a few pictures you are never going to believe. Every white spot you see is where a dead slug is lying!! Keep in mind....when the salt hits the slugs they shrink...imagine when they were all alive and 3-4 inches long. It seemed like it was off of a movie!!! (The pictures don't do justice)(Try to click on the pictures because the bigger the better!)

This is right outside our front door.....all waiting to enter!!
There were even a few who took a dip in the pool.

Oh the surprises from living in Mexico!!!

Happy B-day Jonathan
