Well I am a little far behind in the current events happening in our lives. But it is never too late...right?
Today I wanted to honor my great-grandpa. He just passed away a few weeks ago. Here was the information from the online obituary.
— LESLIE EARL INGRAM, 95, of Piggott died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, in Piggott Community Hospital. Papa was born July 30, 1913
Survivors include his wife, Nevada Ingram of Piggott; three daughters, Anna Lindamood of Hendersonville, N.C., Barbara Tipling of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Janet Smith of Dyersburg; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ethridge Ingram; and sister, Pauline White.
I don't have many memories of my PaPa but the ones I do all are good. He was a gentle man who was fun to be around. He was a hard worker and loved his garden. I remember he always was smiling and liked to make others smile. He and my great grandmother had been married 76 years. They married September 18, 1932. It is neat to see how many family members he leaves behind. My mom is one of the grandkids, my brother and I are two of the great-grandkids and he still leaves a brother, a sister and a wife. I hope I have that healthy family blood running through my veins!!
Sorry this is late but I did love my PaPa and I hope to see him again in heaven some day. I know it was an honor to know and love my great grandfather. I thank God for the chance to know him and that I have great memories of him. I am thankful he was able to have a long and happy life as well.
We want to try to keep family, friends and everyone who has come down on a team updated about what is going on. Keep praying because the Lord is on the move here in Puerto Vallarta!!

Thanksgiving 2008
This Thanksgiving we were here in P.V. Since Thanksgiving is a Thursday and we have church Thursday evening we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving on Friday.
Thursday we went to a local buffet hoping to find some traditional T-day food. We got our hopes a little too high :) They had tried to make some traditional food but it was just not the same. We had fun though.
Friday we had our meal in the late afternoon. Preston wanted to run to a store downtown that has lots of imported stuff. He returned home with a sack of stuff!!
Stove top, cranberry sauce, and coffee creamers. Even though he paid import prices they were all SO worth it!

We hope all of you had a blessed Thanksgiving day. Our prayer is that each person would cherish and not take for granted their families during this season. We are so thankful for our families and we look forward to the next time we get to see them. We truly did miss seeing them this year.
We are also so thankful for each person who supports us and the work here in P.V. We know the work is not possible here without the support!!

Friends Come to Visit
Preston's best Friend Dallas came to visit us a few weeks ago. We had such a blast with him and his wife Heather and their little boy, Noah.
We swam in the pool, went to the beach, the boys went on a hike, the girls had lots of time to chat, we watched "Over the Hedge" everyday, we took strolls downtown, we went to the park, out to eat and more!
Having the toddler in the house kept Preston and I on our toes. We were tired, and we didn't even do anything compared to the parents!! It is a different life with a little one around. But just to see him smile and experience life was worth it.
Here is a small slide show of some pictures....enjoy.
Thanks again Dallas, Heather and Noah for coming down to see us. The time with you all will never be forgotten. We love each of you and we cherish the moments we have with you. We look forward to our next moments together. Until then we will keep you in our prayers. We love you!! Thanks for being true friends to us.

A Little Less Wisdom
By popular demand we will have a post about my wisdom teeth!!
*If I EVER see this picture anywhere else you will be blocked completely out of my life :)
First I would like to thank everyone for the calls, emails, cards and prayers as I had my two bottom wisdom teeth cut out. The procedure went great and the healing has been smooth sailing. I had the procedure done Monday and this upcoming Monday I will return to get the stitches taken out. So I now have a mouth with two less teeth!
I of course had lots of swelling after the procedure. Here is a before and after picture of my cheeks.

Preston was calling me his little chipmunk and blow fish. Speaking of Preston, he did a great job taking care of me and being my nurse. Thanks for taking care of me PG! You are the best!
And for the teeth....these are not for the faint of heart. When he pulled them out my dentist said...well these are strange teeth. After, he showed me them and told me he had never seen those brown spots on teeth before...?? Who knows. I am just glad to know those little guys can no longer cause me pain.
Again, I thank everyone for their prayers. I was calm and I felt a peace only from our Father. Everything has went smoothly and I know it is because of Him.*Again, I better never see that picture anywhere!! Love you all.

A Table with a View
What more could a girl ask for...
A table with a view (It was the best night shot I could get with all the lights)
A beautiful sunset
My amazing husband
Chocolate dessert to die for....so Preston says

And.....FRIENDS!!
That's right folks, Dave and his new bride Tabitha were in P.V on their honeymoon. They were so sweet to come here and actually let us spend a nice dinner out with them.
It was so great to see this newly married couple and just have sweet time of fellowship over an amazing meal with a breathtaking view. We give the Vista Grill two thumbs up again!!

Congrats Dave and Tabitha. We pray the Lord will give you Many years of happiness and thanks for starting off your marriage blessing people. Because you have truly blessed Preston and I by coming here and spending time with us!! We love you both!

Jim & Mary
Last year Preston and I were eating breakfast in our favorite breakfast restaurant, Mr. Cream, when we some how started a conversation with the table next to us. They were 2 sweet couples from Georgia here on vacation. We chatted for a while and told them what we were doing here. They asked for our business card because Jim and Mary come here every year. So we gave them our card and that was that.
Last Monday we got a call and it was Jim! He wanted to meet up with us for breakfast at Mr. Cream again. So we headed there bright and early on Tuesday morning. We had such a great time chatting with them and letting them pour out their fountain of wisdom in us. When we realized we had been sitting and talking for about 2 1/2 hours we decided it was time to leave the restaurant and take a walk through the marina. As we were walking along and talking Jim invited us to go grab our swim suits and come hang out by their pool. So Preston and I ran home got our suits and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon by the pool. We had such a blast with these two. Mary and I did the water aerobics class in the pool while Preston and Jim talked about everything and I think solved all the world's problems. We then ordered lunch by the pool.

It was just such a refreshing day to hang out with them. While I was talking and spending time with Mary I really felt like God gave me that day to have some "grandma time". We left that day feeling very blessed and knowing that gift of time with this sweet couple was from the Lord. He knows we love the fellowship and He is faithful to provide it!!
Check out the cool peacock at the resort. It was beautiful and not scared of people.
